Testimony

We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose.(Romans 8:28)
By the Grace of God, I was born to K P Philip and Kunjamma Philip as the youngest of seven children at Kaipuzha Kochuparampil at Ranni in Kerala (India). I became a born-again believer in Christ at the age of nine, was baptized at the age of eleven and on the same day was filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. I was married at the age of sixteen to Rajeev Mammen, the eldest son of K M Baby and Sosamma Baby from the Kadavil Family, Mazhukeer, Chengannur in Kerala.
I moved to Bahrain with my husband and have lived here ever since. God blessed us with two sons and a daughter, Liju Sam Rajeev, Siju Philip Rajeev and Siji Susan Rajeev. We lived a peaceful and happy life for some time until slowly we began to face problems one after the other. Financial difficulties, sickness, job problems etc began to take over our lives and I felt like we were going through a valley of tears and pain. Suicide was not an option because of the hope that God had given us regarding Eternal Life. But in all times of difficulty and frustration, God's word and His promises guided and comforted us. My relationship with God kept me going and He comforted us like a mother comforts her child. Those were the days we had really tasted and seen the goodness and mercy of our God. We later realized that those were paths we had to go through in order to become the ideal vessels that God wanted us to become.
To stay strong during those difficult times, along with fasting and praying, I used to read many books about great people of God, their testimonies and biographies. What fascinated me was that God used not only the highly educated or talented people but He also used the uneducated, weak and the poor and those who thought they were not capable enough to do His work. As I realized this, I prayed for almost a year, that I would be used by God in some special way for His glory.
As I prayed, one day God started giving me a few lines of a song along with the tune. I never took the gift of song writing seriously as I didn't have the education needed or talent to sing nor the money to produce albums. Those days, many people of God prophesied to me that God had given me a gift, which at the right time would come out and become a blessing to thousands. Since then I started writing down all the songs God gave me and started praying for them just as I would pray for my own children.
Even now I continue to write the songs that He puts in my heart. So far God has given me over 225 songs. God has now blessed our family and He has enabled us to release three volumes of Krupamel Krupa and to distribute them freely to thousands.
I would like to share my heartfelt gratitude to my dear ones especially my family and my dearest friends Lillykutty Andrews and Sheeba George for the support and encouragement that they have given me to do this ministry that God has entrusted to me.
I am sharing this testimony so that if there is anyone reading this who feels that they are incapable or untalented to be used by God, you need to know that if God could use me, he could definitely use you too. God looks for our Availability not our Ability.
The return of our Lord is at hand. We should dedicate the remaining time in our lives to spread the love of God and bring glory to His name.
God Bless you all.
In Christ,
Lizykutty Rajeev
